Poetic Thoughts, Poems By Jeanna Heeraman

Poetic Thoughts | Life Poems

Poetry defines a number of things in my opinion, it is not about the way words rhyme but more importantly it is about expressions. The way you feel and the way you portray yourself in words can really make a beautiful poem and create a deep and meaningful journey.

Recently I shared my thoughts on poetry and shared my poems at http://www.funkyhead.co.uk/trends/poetic-thoughts-life-experience/ the poems featured on http://www.funkyhead.co.uk/ are created by myself and I let my mind explore the possibilities of life and feelings and then I put pen to paper.

The David Beckham Hand Painted Billboard in NYC

I have recently been very busy with developing the website http://www.funkyhead.co.uk/ and upon writing a number of articles I have been fascinated with street art.

Some of the posts were focused on London street art and the graffiti mural in Clerkenwell which can be read here at http://www.funkyhead.co.uk/trends/london-street-art-clerkenwell-mural/ a very different way of exploring London!

What has caught my attention recently is the launch of David Beckham’s Bodywear collection for H&M and how marketing and advertsising has been taken to a whole new level. Check out this post by FunkyHead and watch the video on the David Beckham hand painted billboard in NYC http://www.funkyhead.co.uk/fashion/david-beckham-launches-bodywear-2/

Thierry Henry Thierry Henry Thierry Henry Thierry Henry!

The Arsenal Football Club legend returned to the Emirates on Monday night and scored the winning goal in the FA Cup match against Leeds United. Thierry Henry who is currently on loan from New York Red Bulls made a spectacular comeback, he still has that quality goal finish. It was a dream for the fans, the players and the manager to see this moment in football. Continue reading

Windy weather and the goal scored is by a goalkeeper, just another night in premier league football

Well you do not hear this very often in football but tonight Everton’s goalkeeper Tim Howard scored an incredible goal in the premier league and it was created off the back of the bad weather we have been experiencing. The wind did help Everton take the lead on 63 minutes but it did not secure them a win, however this is still a moment to remember!

The social networking media debate…

The social networking media debate, beneficial or does it encounter more problems than it’s worth?

We tend to live in an interactive world where we communicate more often than not through web-based and mobile technologies, but how often do we simply chat on the phone or talk face to face, why has this form of communication become lost? I am betting it got lost because most of us by now have a facebook, twitter account or instant messaging device and it can be simpler for some to send a quick message or upload a status these days. F1 VIP experience, stepping into a famous motorsport venue!

Silverstone home to the F1 British Grand Prix, as you take a long walk to the open gates the sound is astonishing, you can feel the victory run through your body in every step you take and it really does take you aback.

I attended the corporate VIP experience, the qualifying rounds and it is everything from start to finish. It’s unbelievable to think Silverstone was once a WWII airfield and is now home to motor racing, it has really come a long way. Seeing the circuit is a breathtaking view accompanied by the loudest noise you will hear, I felt as though my ears may actually burst but that buzz you get is very much worth it so I recommend not wearing the ear plugs they give you and just take it all in.
